Green stories: MSU Union

At the MSU Union, 'Being Spartan Green' is not only a suggestion: it's a commitment. With a hands-on approach that engages all office members, Associate Manager Doug Murdoch and Operations Supervisor Celia Cosme-Brooks encourage green practices and sustainability education as an integral part of daily operations. Because of the MSU Union's environmental stewardship, the building was awarded Gold-level Spartan Green Certification in April 2015.

Through continual improvement of their operations, the MSU Union is a shining example of the university-wide commitment to create a more sustainable campus.
