At MSU, our sustainability-related work is diverse, fast-paced and ever-changing. Keep up with the latest developments, research projects and findings with these resources, which are maintained by the numerous departments, colleges and other campus groups devoted to enhancing sustainability at MSU, statewide and in the global community. 

 

EVENT RESOURCES  

• MSU Sustainability Events
  The Office of Sustainability offers events throughout the year, including special programs during Sustainability Month in October and Earth Month in April. In addition, the office frequently collaborations with university partners on sustainability-related events. Check out current events from MSU Sustainability.
• MSU Libraries events calendar
  At the MSU Library, regular events like the Beal Botanical Garden Tours help inform the campus community on the importance of our extensive gardens and other natural resources. Learn more about garden tours and other events.
• MSU Extension events calendar
  The MSU Extension event calendar displays events ranging in topic, location and Extension program. Check out the many events hosted by your local Extension office and get involved with sustainability in your community.
• Environmental Science & Policy Program calendar of events

  ESPP was established in order to build graduate education programs that are innovative, interdisciplinary and campus wide. They also facilitate interdisciplinary environmental research at MSU and link MSU research with national and global research priorities. Check out the events hosted on and near MSU's campus.

• University Activities Board events
  MSU's University Activities Board (UAB) strives to provide unique, high quality experiences, through on-campus events, that contribute to student growth. Get to know campus through events like guest speaker sessions, craft shows and cosmic bowling. 
• RISE Calendar
  In addition to a regular newsletter, the Residential Initiative on the Study of the Environment (RISE) program keeps an updated list of sustainable events available to the MSU community.   To receive the RISE new letter please visit their website and sign up to be on their mailing list.

• College of Agriculture and Natural Resources news
  At MSU's College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, students are learning to use the principles of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business and creative design in tackling some of the world’s biggest problems related to food, energy and the environment. • Residential Initiative on the Study of the Environment (RISE) newsletter

• Infrastructure Planning and Facilities (IPF) news and alerts
  MSU IPF plans, builds and maintains the physical environment for the university’s education, research and outreach missions, from areas like power and water to landscaping and custodial services. Learn more.
• Student Organic Farm
  MSU's Student Organic Farm coordinates a farm stand and also offers a CSA (community-supported agriculture). In addition, the farm coordinates training and outreach. Keep up with upcoming produce, farmer recipes and more. 
• MSU Surplus Store news
  MSU Surplus collects materials from the MSU community and finds new ways to put them to use – either by making them available back to MSU (in lieu of purchasing new items) or by displaying them for sale at the store and online. Learn about upcoming sales and more.

• W.K. Kellogg Biological Station (KBS) news
  The W.K. Kellogg Biological Station is Michigan State University’s largest off-campus education complex and one of North America’s premier inland field stations. Learn about the hands-on research students, faculty and researchers conduct at KBS every day.
