International Youth Day 2024

The Global Youth Advancement Network (GYAN) at Michigan State University invites you to attend our virtual International Youth Day 2024: Innovation Collaboratory on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am (EST).

In celebration of International Youth Day, recognized annually by the United Nations on August 12, GYAN is thrilled to announce the Innovation Collaboratory 2024. This dynamic event is designed to empower youth from around the globe, providing a platform to expand their networks, build strategic partnerships, discuss pathways to success, and highlight their contributions towards sustainable development within their communities and nations.

We invite proposals from young innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs to contribute to the Innovation Collaboratory 2024. Submissions should align with the event's theme, "Youth Towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)," and may cover but are not limited to the following proposal tracks:

Exploring critical issues related to youth and the SDGs
Showcasing youth-led initiatives, projects, and innovations that contribute to the SDGs
Discussing challenges and opportunities in achieving the SDGs

If you would like to participate in this event as a youth presenter, submit a proposal for a fifteen-minute presentation. If your proposal is selected by the GYAN team, you will be contacted to create a PowerPoint presentation for the Innovation Collaboratory event. Presenters will receive a certificate for their contributions to global issues. Proposals are due by Sunday, June 30, 2024 (11:59 pm EST).
