Eco Art Workshop

We invite students and staff/faculty to a Beach Cleanup at Lake Erie (9/21) and a free Eco-Art Workshop (10/3) in which attendees will repurpose plastic litter to make picture frames. These events are in partnership with Hannah Tizedes, MSU alumni and former SSRC employee. Hannah is the founder of The Cleanup Club and an artist with a unique mosaic-inspired style.
Students will make mosaic picture frames by repurposing found plastic waste that was collected along the shores of the Great Lakes. Hannah will guide attendees through the process and discuss pollution, advocacy, creative reuse, and more. discussion. Students will leave with a colorful, one-of-a-kind picture frame fit for the best of Spartan memories. Registration is required. For more information visit Surplus and Recycling.
