Lansing Rivers and River Trail Cleanup

Sat, June 10, 2023 9:00 AM - Sat, June 10, 2023 3:00 PM at Lansing Rotary Park

Michigan Waterways Stewards is thrilled to have been asked to lead two city-wide rivers and river trail cleanup events. The first is Saturday, June 10.

Our purpose is to not only remove litter, trash, and other urban debris from our rivers and river trails, but to unveil a remarkable, rivers and river trail system that few cities can boast about. June 10 represents the culmination of months of work. Thousands of pounds of litter and trash will have been removed from our rivers, riverbanks, and adjoining river trails, and several long-standing river-wide obstructions have been cleared making navigating safe and pleasant.

With your help, our rivers and river trails will be looking better, cleaner, and healthier than they have in years. This is worthy of celebration!
