Thu, September 15, 2022 7:00 PM - Thu, September 15, 2022 9:00 PM at W.J. Beal Botanical Garden

WALL-E is the story of a lone robot tasked with cleaning up mountains of garbage on an uninhabited Earth in the year 2850. He encountersa probe, EVE, sent by a human-inhabited starship, falls in love with her, and follows her into outer space. This animated film won numerous awards and is among the top 30 films of the 21st century, in part for the questions it raises about our relationship with consumerism and pollution, and the hope we still hold for the future.

This program is in conjunction with the exhibition 1.5° Celsius which explores the global climate crisis on view in the MSU Museum’s Main Gallery September 6, 2022 – February 25, 2023.
