Critical Conversations in Michigan Tourism 2022: Sustainability and Climate Change

The MSU Extension Tourism Team is excited to offer the upcoming FREE online seminar series “Critical Conversations in Michigan Tourism: Sustainability and Climate Change.” This series will focus on how issues of the changing climate and sustainability impact tourism in Michigan and some steps your community can take to address these issues in your tourism and community development efforts. Sessions will focus on an overview of climate change and the Great Lakes, the impact on winter outdoor recreation, sustainable land use and climate adaptation planning for local units of government, and possible funding sources for climate adaptation.
