Panel Take: Business and Ethics in the Anthropocene

Thu, October 13, 2022 6:00 PM - Thu, October 13, 2022 7:30 PM at STEM Teaching and Learning Facility, room 2202

MSU Museum Program: Many stories about climate change and environmentalism pit the individual against the corporation. However, reality is often more nuanced and complicated. In this conversation, we bring together experts on topics like corporate responsibility and reporting, plateau and degrowth economic models, sustainable packaging, and environmental justice to discuss the intersection of business and ethics in this human-centric environmental era we find ourselves living in. Moderated by Laura Young, head of the MSU sustainability office.

This program is in conjunction with the exhibition 1.5° Celsius which explores the global climate crisis on view in the MSU Museum’s Main Gallery September 6, 2022 – February 25, 2023.
