1st Annual MSU Juneteenth Celebration: From Freedom to Liberation

On Saturday, June 19, 2021, Michigan State University will host a university-wide in-person celebration of Juneteenth to commemorate the freeing of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

Join in this week-long celebration that will include film screenings, panel discussions and webinars that will lead up to the in-person event. 

The historic commemoration will include a panel discussion, live music, food and more. Join this historic celebration of African American culture and Spartan community.     

The MSU Juneteenth Celebration is of great significance to the African American community and everyone including students, staff, faculty, alumni and members of the local community are invited to RSVP to the celebration.
