An Evening of Bike Tales by Authors Maynard Hershon and Dave Stanley

Come out for an evening of reading tales of the joys of biking by two Flint natives who are known around the country for their great stories that cover the full field of bicycling, from pro-racing in the USA and Europe, to delightful tales of bike shop shenanigans. Maynard Hershon's monthly columns in Winning Magazine and Bicycle Racing Illustrated back in the 80's into the 90's delighted thousands around the country. Many of those stories ended up in his book "Tales from the Bike Shop" and "Half Wheel Hell and Other Cycling Stories".

Dave Stanley is an author of two non-fiction books and his free-lance work has appeared in national magazines (Bicycle Guide, ROAD, Velo-news, Peloton, and Stand. He is a winner of the Giordana/Peloton Magazine writing award for his essay on the Paris-Roubaix. Stanley is a regular columnist for BikeRaceInfo.com. He also co-hosts, with Gary Fairley and the inimitable Chris Sidwells, a podcast titled "The Feed Zone", part of the CyclingLegends.co.uk media group which focuses on pro cycling.

The event will be free to attend.
