Red Cedar River Pollinator Corridor Planting Event

Michigan State University Landscape Services and the Consumers Energy Foundation will celebrate their partnership through the enhancement of the Red Cedar River Pollinator Corridor. Volunteers will assist in planting native pollinator species while recognizing the Foundation's investment in sustainability, water quality, biodiversity, and campus beautification.

Landscape Services staff and additional volunteers will be stationed throughout the planting area to assist participants and provide planting guidance.

Activities include:

• Welcome remarks
• Planting native pollinator plugs
• Installing native grasses and flowering species
• River corridor habitat enhancement
• Educational discussions about pollinators and water quality
• Photo opportunities with volunteers, MSU leadership, and Consumers Energy Foundation representatives

All are welcome to attend and participate. Plant materials, tools, and safety equipment will be provided.
