ReFashion Friday

Hosted by Spartan Upcycle, the creative reuse branch of the MSU Surplus Store & Recycling Center, with support from ScrapFest and Seams. Free and open to the public.

Create or reimagine a piece of clothing or an accessory by repurposing available materials. Project suggestions and guidance are offered to those who would like instruction. Attendees also have creative freedom to work on personal projects, if that's preferred.

Sewing machines, hand sew supplies, secondhand clothes and other textiles, scrap fabric and a variety of other materials are available for use at no cost. Make something for fun or sign up to participate in the ScrapFest ReFashion Show — a non-competitive show held during ScrapFest, the annual recycled art festival.
